Saoirse's First Easter

It was bright. Both of us look like a pair of shades would be a good idea.

 "I'm sitting like big stuff. Hi, Mama!"

 "What's this stuff tickling my feet?"

 "Wait, why is that truck moving?"

 "Anyway, back to this green stuff..."

"If I reach forward..."

 "I bet I can get some and analyze it closer."

 "Retrieval complete. This stuff feels weird."

 "Appears overall harmless, if not slightly itchy..."

 "Mama and Cheerio are busy over there so I bet I can..."

 "Cram some in my mouth just to give it a thorough check!"

Pictures in her fancy dress

Saoirse got this fancy dress from her daddy's parents at Christmas. I hadn't gotten around to putting her in it and taking pictures until now. Fortunately it was a 6 months and it fit just fine. :)

Spring is here

It's been ridiculously pretty here the last day or so. Which is nice after the crazy amount of rain we got last week. And at the moment, this pretty much sums up my life. 

Chilling in the yard on a blanket with my baby being blinded by the sun, listening to our neighbor's dog howl. It's around 80* with a nice breeze, and this is a wonderful place to be right now. 

Saoirse is watching the goings-on of nature, such as flying pine needles, the blanket getting blown around, and leaves taking up residence on our blanket. 

This is a great place to be.
